So, this is the blog I will be using as a kind of travel diary to keep anyone who’s interested (hi mum!) up to date with my progress.

Hopefully, by then I’ll actually have something to write about and there might be one or two people reading it so I won’t feel quite as uncomfortable as I do now – it’s a bit like talking to yourself in an empty room at the moment (first sign of madness?)!

I’ll also update as regularly as possible between now and January as I begin to plan and book things up etc…
